PA equipment on the other hand is dirt cheap. DJ equipment is NOT cheap, pioneer's digital decks are thousands of pounds. That's what Sonos was designed for, it is not designed for DJing. The latency is in order to digitize the line-in so that it can be passed to other Sonos devices in perfect sync, you can't do that with an analog signal, there's no way around it. It is a shame really, there should be some way to eliminate the crazy latency Sonos has. there isn't a system that I would actually recommend less for live mixing. I love my Sonos gear, but it is terrible for DJing.
